We do this by surveying your home to find out how big it is, how much insulation you have, how much water you use. These are all factors in choosing the correct gas boiler. Some households only need small combi boilers, such as terraced houses or small semi detached properties. Other properties will require large boilers to cope with the amount of heating required.
In order to make sure that your installation meets the correct regulations you may need more than a boiler. All radiators should have thermostatic radiator valves and there should also be a room thermostat to control the heat. We often advise installing programmable room thermostats as this will give the best way of achieving great energy efficiency. Installing a new room thermostat can save on average £155 per year from your heating bill( taken from The Energy Saving Trust website).
